An interactive session on English language training was organised on 17th September ’16 (ELT series-I) and 1st October ’16 (ELT series-II) where Mr. Vickey Manuel was invited as a guest of speaker to magnify the English language and also the communication skills so that the students of 1st year MMS Batch 2016-2018 batch can be at the apex in each level in the corporate world.
Both the sessions were inter-mutual throughout and it focused not only on importance and effectiveness of correct communication but also had a light on building self-confidence while communicating or delivering and also while presenting self in front of audience or during interview sessions.
Mr. Vickey Manual further continued by discussing about difficulties faced by today’s young generation in communication. He asked the students to pen down 4 good things – students llike about English, 2 bad things or problems that students have with the language English language and also 3 expectations from English language training, and asked them to analyze the same after the completion of the training program.
He also briefed the appropriation usage of preposition while framing english sentence. He willingly resolved all the doubts and confusion of the students by closely interacting with them .
In the second English learning session, the students were asked to pen down about their self for approximately a minute and then were asked to speak on the same individually. He guided each student by mentioning their weekness which included speech, tone, voice sharpness and confidence. He also firmly explained the importance of being confident while speaking or presenting yourself.
It was an interactive session which helped the students to gain knowledge on communication patterns which will help them not in their professional life but also in personal life. The session ended with a vote of thanks and with a huge round of applause to Mr. Vicky Manual.
