Dr.Anil Garg was invited for an interactive online session with students on Career counseling (Campus to corporate life ) on 30/7/2022 11-1 pm. Dr.Anil Garg is an International Motivational Speaker, Corporate Coach, Sales Guru, Experienced Professional, Counsellor, Strategic Thinker, Empowering leader, “Master Trainer-Pride of India” award winner, and Faculty-The Art of Living.
The main idea behind the session was to make the students aware of the importance of the code of conduct in the general insights of corporate reality. He shared his personal experiences with the corporate world with a smart way of tackling problems, his experience of getting into different departments, and also explained how to build the core competencies. As it was an interactive session, he expressed the factual reality of the industry and life, where being rigid is not going to make you sustain. The speaker then continued the discussion by letting the students know about the working term value-based organization in an organization. As every organization has certain norms called a Code of Conduct which need to be followed by everyone in the company. Another important point that the speaker added was about having the right attitude. Dr.Garg also shared how he applied and practiced with the right attitude while working for corporate and also explained ways to enhance soft skills such as self-confidence and communication skills. He addressed students saying that Campus to corporate is a life-changing transformation. It is a life transition that is exciting because you get to work in your dream job, earn money and enjoy spending it as you wish!
He said that “The biggest challenge while transitioning from campus to corporate, you yourself have to develop the self-confidence that you have the ability to perform the job assigned to you”. You also will be expected to demonstrate that you have the ability to learn and perform more to the satisfaction of your superiors. The more you deliver, the more expectations are added from your end. Last but not the least, Dr.Garg addressed the students by saying “It’s better to be unique than the best because being Best makes you the no.1, Being unique will make you the only one.”
