Report on Intellectual Property Rights & Artificial Intelligence (IPR & AI)

As per the NAAC and Accreditation bodies every institute needs to conduct workshops on IPR and AI. Every faculty and students should be aware of this because faculty members they publish research papers in their specialisation areas.

The institute conducted workshop on IPR & AI on 26th April 2023, Wednesday from 3 pm onwards through online mode on Zoom. It was conducted by Dr. Asmita Vaidya, Principal, Government Law College, Church gate, Mumbai. She has delivered ample number of sessions on cyber security and IPR. She is Gold medallist and University first ranker at Graduate and Post Graduate level, M.B.A in Human Resource Management, she has pursued doctoral research in Industrial Law.

She started her career at Post Graduate department of Law Nagpur University in the year 1995 as a teacher. She was working as Head, Department of LAW, and N.M.D College of Arts, Commerce, Law and Management.

She has chaired many technical Sessions and delivered many lectures as a resource person on different legal topics such as Cyber Law, Intellectual Property Law, Human Rights, Women Rights, Surrogacy, Women Empowerment through Law, Industry 4.0 and Law, Time Management, legal Shelter to Entrepreneurs and many more. She has organised many national and State level conferences, seminars, short term training programs and workshops. She is Recognized supervisor / Guide of Law subject for Ph.D. students of R.T.M. Nagpur University, Nagpur, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, University of Mumbai, Mumbai and J.J.T. University, Rajasthan. Eighty five post graduate and seven doctoral students are guided by her till today.

She has authored eight reference books and many research articles in different national and International research Journals. More than Ninety articles on women rights are published in various News Papers. She has delivered many talks on women rights on Akashwani. She is Vocal artist of Akashwani and is Sangeet Visharad. She also worked as Door-darshan Announcer for seven years at Nagpur Television.

More than 200 participants attended the workshop through online mode, the participants were from all over the India.

The workshop went on very well and participants appreciated it wholeheartedly. The feedback was conducted after the completion of the workshop and immediately E-certificates were provided to the participants who have attended the workshop.
